This one is for thepinkrabbit, whose newfound love for clonecest makes me happy. Title: Darkness and Light Characters: Yazoo, Kadaj, Loz Rating: G Yazoo and Kadaj sleep curled together like kittens, on their sides with their knees drawn up and their heads resting in the hollow between each other's stomach and thighs. In a rare moment of thoughtfulness, Loz once likened them to yin and yang, touched their hair and their cheeks and stared at his fingers afterwards as if some of them might have been transferred to him. But Kadaj hated the comparison because Kadaj believes they're made of light, beautiful and so bright there's no room for darkness. Yazoo wonders, sometimes, if they're really made of anything but dust and ashes.

Apparently, I'm developing a 'thing' for Sephiroth/Zack. The next chapter of A-R-T should be up sometime before the end of the weekend, along with the sequel to 'Cold' and 'Warm', and a completely self-indulgent Genesis/Reno.
Title: Bunk Inspection Characters: Sephiroth, Zack Rating: PG-13
"...his hot, throbbing manhood-- really, Fair, 'manhood'?"
Zack isn't sure whether that's a rhetorical question or not, but it doesn't matter because his voice isn't working at this point anyway.
"Cloud's-- please tell me this is not a euphemism for Private Strife's anus."
"Er," Zack offers, and he swears his face is going to burst into flames at any second. "G-general Sephiroth, sir, I can explain."
Sephiroth sets the stack of papers aside and looks at him. "Then please, do explain, especially since I seem to have a starring role in your-- novel."
Zack winces and bites his lip. "Uhm, I lost a bet?"

If I turn into a rabid Mello/Near shipper, blame thepinkrabbit. Title: One or Many Characters: Mello/Near Rating: PG-13 It's been six months since Mello faked his own death and four years since the last time he kissed Near. "How many people have you been with since--?" Near whispers against his lips, a shivering study of pink and white in Mello's arms. "Too many," Mello murmurs. "I tried so hard to get you out of my head, and it was never enough." Near sighs, sounding almost relieved, and closes his eyes. "And you? How many people have you replaced me with?" Mello asks, kissing his way across a flushed cheek. Near's eyes open, pupils dilated and eyelashes fluttering with every breath he takes. "None."

Title: Imaginary Characters: Mello/Near Rating: PG-13
Near is an echo of L's memory. It's in the slouch of his spine, the messy fall of hair over his eyes, the carefully neutral tone of his voice. Near is L's successor in almost every way.
But Near's kisses aren't L's kisses. There's not a trace of L in the pleading whimpers and quiet, breathy sighs. L would never be so passionate, so needy, so desperate for touch and warmth.
And that's when Mello has the upper hand, even if it's just for a few minutes. That's when Mello can smile against Near's mouth and think to himself, "I win."

Title: La La La, I Can't Hear You Characters: Rufus/Reno, Rude Rating: PG
They'd done a good job of keeping it quiet. Rufus was a natural when it came to deception and subterfuge, and even Reno had managed to act with something resembling discretion.
So Rude, being a good friend and an even better employee, just stood near the door of the office and pretended not to hear the conversation taking place less than ten feet away.
"With ribbons, really? That's-- very creative," Rufus was whispering into the phone. By the time he hung up, there was a light blush on his cheeks and he cleared his throat before telling Rude, "I'm redecorating."
"Mm," Rude replied.

I've been really, really bad about keeping up with this whole drabble thing. This is probably a 'sequel' to the last Sephiroth/Cloud.
Title: In Memoriam Characters: Sephiroth/Cloud Rating: PG
"I--"
He choked, split himself open inside and knew that things, everything was changing. There was the low hum of machinery, and the cool air from the vent overhead, and none of it meant nearly as much as the pale fingers splayed out over the polished metal table.
"You-- you destroyed everything I cared about."
The words were wrong, all wrong, but he forced them out because what he really wanted to say would damn them all. But the truth was there, burning and aching inside of him, just where it had always been.
"I don't remember," Sephiroth whispered, and Cloud wanted to weep.

Title: One Last Time Characters: Sephiroth/Cloud Rating: PG
Cloud's memories of the last time he killed Sephiroth are nothing more than flashes of silver and green. The others accuse him of using those remnants as fodder for his self-imposed martyrdom, but they don't realize that Cloud still loves Sephiroth, even after everything.
So when war breaks out, and ShinRa's new army of bright-eyed cadets come home broken old men, and Rufus proposes the one solution everyone's been afraid of from the beginning, Cloud surprises them all by being the first to agree.
After all, he's killed Sephiroth twice before. Once more will be worth it just to see him again.

Okay, I'm sort of cheating today because this is actually part of a longer story I'm working on.
Title: Giving In Characters: Rufus/Reno Rating: NC-17
The office was uncomfortably warm, but Reno was shivering. He hung his head, flushed and panting, and tugged at the ropes binding his wrists to the desk.
Gloved fingers held him open as something wet dripped down the cleft of his arse, and Reno shuddered. Rufus had spat on him, and it was so filthy, and wrong, and hot that he couldn't do anything but whimper and press his aching cock against the sharp edge of the desk.
"Ask for it," Rufus murmured.
Reno knew if he gave in, there would be no turning back, but he arched his spine and whispered, "Please."
|
Title: Concession Characters: Rufus/Reno Rating: PG
"Concede."
Rufus bore down on Reno's ribs with his knees; pushed a short, labored breath from the other man's lungs. They'd been sparring for two hours, Reno was bruised and barely conscious, and still, there was no surrender.
"Say it," Rufus whispered, low and deadly. He moved down, crawled on hands and knees until their noses were touching. There was a flutter of eyelashes, a quick, indrawn breath, and he repeated, "Concede."
Reno's eyes snapped open, brilliant blue, full of pain, and utterly beautiful. Strong legs wrapped around Rufus' waist, pulled him closer, and a quiet voice whispered, "Where's the fun in that?"

Title: Changes Characters: Soubi/Ritsuka Rating: PG-13
They'd kissed before, but never like this.
Ritsuka—his reserved, prickly Ritsuka—was shivering against his mouth, curled up tight on his lap, knees pressing ribs and hands clutching shoulders. They'd kissed before because Soubi needed, but they kissed now because Ritsuka wanted, gasped and mewled and pleaded with the slow rocking of his hips.
"Ritsuka," Soubi prayed. What he meant to say, or ask for, he didn't know, because maybe he'd hurt them both or maybe he'd just suffocate under the weight of his longing.
Until Rituska's eyelashes fluttered, and his head bowed, and he whispered, "Take them, Soubi."

I hereby declare May the official Month o' Drabbles. The goal is one drabble (consisting of exactly 100 words) per day, starting May 1st and ending May 31st. I'm also doing this for Harry Potter. Feel free to leave me requests, and also let me know if you plan to do a bit o' drabbling, yourselves so I can stalk you. Title: Blue Monday Characters: Rude, Reno, Sephiroth Rating: G It was Reno who noticed first, falling silent mid-sentence as he openly stared at the doorway. Rude waited a few seconds before investigating. Anything bad enough to make Reno stop talking was sure to be horrifying. Finally, when nothing exploded and no shots were fired, he slowly turned to look. Green eyes immediately darted in his direction and he physically recoiled. "Whomever is responsible for tampering with my shampoo," Sephiroth declared as he gestured to his formerly silver hair, now electric blue, "would do well to start running." There was a muffled squeak as Reno leapt from his chair and fled the room.
